In a proactive initiative towards promoting voter awareness, the District Administration Kishtwar spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Kistwar Dr Devansh Yadav IAS in Collaboration with Kishtwar Development Authority,PMGSY and Forest Department Subdivision Marwah conducted a Special Voter’s Enrollment and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign.
The campaign featured a unique blend of activities including a Democracy Trek, Camping, and Plantation Drive, which took place at Margam Top Warwan of district Kishtwar situated at an altitude of 12500 fts. This collaborative effort aimed to engage the community in meaningful activities while raising awareness about the importance of voter participation and environmental stewardship.
The role of Assistant Engineer PMGSY Javid Ahmad Dar,Beatguard Gulzar Ahmad Wani of the Forest Division Marwah Range and Dr. Muzaffar Ahmad Rather, Publicity Incharge of KDA Tourism Kishtwar remained pivotal throughout the endeavour.
Dr. Muzaffar Ahmad Rather, Publicity Incharge of KDA Tourism Kishtwar, commended the efforts of all involved parties and reiterated the commitment to organizing similar initiatives in the future for the betterment of society.
Mr. Javid Ahmad Dar, Assistant Engineer of PMGSY Department Subdivision Marwah, expressed his appreciation for the teamwork and emphasized the significance of such initiatives in fostering a sense of civic responsibility among citizens.
Mr. Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Beatguard of Forest Division Marwah Range, highlighted the importance of preserving the natural resources while actively participating in democratic processes.
