JAMMU : District Civil – Defence Kathua visited in the college under the supervision
of Sh Sarbjit Singh ( Deputy- Controller Civil Defence ,Kathua), Dr
Anupama Gupta,esteemed Principal of the college welcomed the team. The
incharge of team briefed the NSS volunteers, the students and the youth of
village Marheen about the role of Civil- Defence teams during emergence
to protect citizens from hostile enemy attack and save precious life both
from natural and man- made catastrophe. He disclosed that the team
would always be ready to provide protection to any person, property,place
or thing in any part of country whether from air,land,sea or any other
places as and when required. The team displayed Demo regarding the
measures and tips which are to be required to save the life and property of
the society during the emergence. The NSS volunteers , the students and
the youth of the village raised certain questions during the training and
shown quite seriousness. Dr Arun Dev Singh NSS programme Officer
extended special thanks to the team members who visited in the college
during the NSS camp. The faculty members who attended the programme
: Prof Sandeep Choudhary , Prof Anoop Sharma, Dr Munisha, Dr Imran,
Dr Shallu, Dr Barneet, Dr Reemi, Dr Rajni, Dr Surbhi and prof Preeti and
local citizen of the adopted village Marheen.
