JOURIAN : In an impressive and well attended function, an affectionate farewell was accorded to Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Jourian Rita Sharma, who is attaining the age of superannuation on January 31.
The function was organised by Teachers’ Welfare Committee at Govt Girls Middle School Pargwal today.
Headmaster Govt High School Bela Jamana Satish Sharma, Headmaster Govt High School Gurah Manhasan Rekha Sharma, Cluster Incharge Pargwal Rajinder Singh, besides other Masters, teachers from different Middle and Primary schools were also present on the occasion.
Various speakers including Satish Sharma, Rekha Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Ram Rattan, Vinay Sharma, Arjun Singh, Dev Raj, Mamta Bajaj, Ramita Sharma and others, who spoke on the occasion, threw light on the contribution of ZEO Rita Sharma during her tenure at Zone Jourian. They lauded her meritorious services and appreciated her unblemished service records. The officer has earned name and fame by dint of her diligence, commitment and exemplary devotion, they said adding that ZEO always worked hard for the cause of the Zone. She through her service career performed her allotted duties with dedication and brought kudos for the department, they said and wished her happy and healthy post retirement.
Speaking on the occasion, ZEO Jourian Rita Sharma said that she worked hard with dedication in different capacities in the Education Department during her over three decades of service. She thanked the teaching fraternity of Cluster Pargwal for organizing the farewell programme and also advised them to work hard for the betterment of the students.
The proceedings were ably conducted by teacher Surjit Singh Chib.
