JOURIAN: In an impressive and well attended function, an affectionate farewell was accorded to Principal HSS Jourian & Officiating ZEO Romesh Singh Slathia and Lecturer Rattan Lal Sharma, who are attaining the age of superannuation on April 30.
In this connection, a grand farewell ceremony was organized by Teachers’ Welfare Committee in the premises of the Govt Higher Secondary School Pargwal today.
Various speakers including, who spoke on the occasion, threw light on the contribution of Romesh Singh Slathia and Rattan Lal Sharma during their tenure at their respective place of posting. They lauded their meritorious services and appreciated their unblemished service records.
Principal HSS & Cluster Head Pargwal Balbir Kumar Sudan; Headmaster HS Bela Jamana Satish Sharma, Rajinder Singh Manhas and others said that both Slathia and Sharma have earned name and fame by dint of their diligence, commitment and exemplary devotion. Both the employees through their service career performed their allotted duties with dedication and brought kudos for the department. The speakers also wished them happy and healthy post retirement.
Speaking on the occasion, both Slathia and Sharma thanked the teaching fraternity of Cluster Pargwal for organizing the farewell programme and also advised them to work hard for the betterment of the students.
Masters and teachers from different schools were present on the occasion.
Prominent among the others present included Jagdish Singh, Vinay Sharma Darshan Singh, Kuljit Singh, Surjit Singh Chib, Sukhvinder Singh, Ankush Dev Singh, Ramita Sharma and many others.
As a token of appreciation, special mementoes were dedicated to both the retiring officers.
