Srinagar, Army averted a major tragedy on Wednesday when they recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Chowkibal area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
The Army said the IED was recovered near Chowkibal on the Srinagar-Chowkibal highway.
“Chinar Warriors averted a major terror incident today by recovering an in-situ destroyer of an ITD near Chowkibal on the Srinagar-Chowkibal highway,” the Army posted on X.
