Anantnag: Three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit were on Thursday arrested by police in South Kashmir, official sources said.
They said they were wanted in connection with the June 12 fidayeen attack in which five CRPF personnel and Station House Officer(SHO) Arshad Ahmed Khan were killed and several others, including a girl injured.
The arrested OGWs during interrogation have confirmed that a Pakistani resident militant of JeM stayed in the house of a local Jaish commander before he carried out the fidayeen attack.
They said all the accused are being questioned for their involvement in other militant incidents also in the district.
