Takshila Trust donates Rs 25000 to Disha Chhatrawas

KATRA: Setting examples for others to follow, Jammu based Takshila Educational Trust donated an amount of Rs 25,000 to Disha Chhatrawas Kadymal (Katra) to be used for the welfare of young boarders of the charitable residential home.
The amount of donation was handed over to Incharge of the Chhatrawas, Sanjay Sharma by chairman of the Trust, Rahul Sharma in the presence of Patron Sewa Bharati J&K, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Principal BVMS Katra.
Subsequently, the Disha Chhatrawas distributed 30 track suits to the young students and also installed a water purifier (Aqua Guard) out of the donation money. The track suits were presented to the students by Rahul Sharma during a visit to the Chhatrawas.
Earlier, students gave a touching welcome the visiting guests, especially Rahul Sharma and expressed their thanks for the support.
Later, Shiv Kumar amidst a motivational address to the students thanked Takshila Educational Trust for the generosity shown towards the needy and most deserving students from different parts of the state residing in the residential hostel.
