South Kashmir Police Premier League concludes; Anantnag Gladiator clinches the title

ANANTNAG: South Kashmir Police Premier League organized by J&K Police concluded in Anantnag on Thursday. DGP J&K Dilbag Singh interacted with the players and distributed the trophies.
DGP Dilbag Singh while interacting with the players emphasized upon the role of youth in development of any society and added that J&K Police is committed towards helping the youth of J&K emerge as champions in various walks of life including sports.
The humane angle to policing and empathy is the core value of policing as per the DGP. He reminded the youth of challenges and hardships that three decades of terrorism have caused to the people of Kashmir.
He appealed to the youth to value the most precious asset to mankind i.e. life. The DGP was of the view that career progression through sports and backing by private sector is need of the hour. He congratulated the winning teams and players.
Other officers present on the occasion were DIG SKR Atul Goel, DC Anantnag, SSP Anantnag and other officers of the district police.
The final match was played between Anantnag Gladiator and Anantnag Super Kings. Anantnag Gladiator won the title by four wickets.
