Ritvik, Iknoor emerge State TT champions

Jammu: Ritvik Gupta clinched the men’s singles title while women’s final won by Ragini in the 42nd Stag J&K Table Tennis Championship held under the banner of J&K Table Tennis Association at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
In the men’s final, Ritvik trounced Manandeep Singh 3-1 whereas Ragini outplayed fighting Iknoor Kaur 3-2 in best of five all important games.
The Youth boys’ title also went to Ritvik, who beat Manandeep Singh in straight 3-0 frames.
In the finals and valedictory function, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mukesh Singh was chief guest, who gave away the title trophies and other individual prizes.
Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the organisers for yet another successful annual event. He encouraged and wished them for their future endeavours.

Prominent among those present in the valedictory function were Satbir Singh, Rajan Sharma, Ravi Singh (Divisional Sports Officer Jammu), I.P Singh, Satish Gupta, Ajay Sharma, Vasu Dewan, Sandeep Khadotra, Narinder Singh, Manmeet Kour, Sheetal Gandotra, Sanjeev Gupta, Vikas Magotra and Gurvinder Singh Sasan.
The finals officiated by the technical penal including Vasu Dewan, Sandeep Khadotra, Gurvinder Singh Sasan, Meenu Rajesh and Asad Sharma.
