Rich Harvest School participates in Fit India week

JAMMU: Rich Harvest School Bari Brahmana enthusiastically participated in Fit India Week, which concluded today. Fit India Movement was started by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2019. Students took part in many activities designed to keep their bodies and minds fit and fine. Many of the Physical activities performed during the week included Skipping, Wushu, Hands free exercise , Yoga, Dance and Aerobics. These activities have become an invaluable part of the school curriculum. Students displayed their artistic skills in poster making and slogan writing with the theme being “Say no to Drugs and Smoking” to live longer. The icing on the cake was children taking part in Tamil Nadu’s indigenous games Kallangla and Adu Pulli Attam. Sandeep Kour conducted a lively symposium on Junk Food Vs Nutritious Food.
Director of school Ruchi Charak advised the children to inculcate good eating habits and lead a healthy life.
