Rajnath to visit Goa to enquire about health condition of Union Minister Shripad Naik

New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Goa on Tuesday to enquire about health condition of Union Minister Shripad Naik injured in an accident that took place near a village in Ankola Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka on Monday evening.
Taking to twitter, Mr Singh said “I will go to Goa today to inquire about the health of Minister of State for Defence Shripad Naik and his ongoing treatment. May God give strength to his family in this hour of crisis and sorrow”.
Mr Naik met with an accident in Karnataka on Monday. While Naik was injured, his wife Vijaya and personal assistant Deepak, died in the accident.
The seriously injured Union Minister was later shifted to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) near Panaji and his condition is said to be stable now.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday evening spoke to Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to ensure proper arrangements for the treatment of Mr Naik
