Punjab Tourists Tragically Lose Lives in J&K Road Mishap

Srinagar, At least four tourists from Punjab were killed and three others injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident in Jammu and Kashmir Anantnag district on Saturday, officials said.

Police said that the ill-fated Tavera vehicle carrying tourists from Moga Punjab was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu when it met with an accident near Nipora resulting in the death of four tourists and injuries to three others.

The deceased have been identified as Sandeep sharma, Romi, Jagdish Singh and Gurmeet Singh .

The injured Harchand Singh, Ashu and Karanpal have been shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag for treatment where the condition of a few is stated to be very critical.
