Police solves theft case, arrests 1 in Bandipora

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police solved a theft case and arrested an accused involved in the crime, a police spokesperson said here on Monday evening.
He said the accused was identified as Kaiser Nazir Parray alias Raja Mangal, resident of Asham. The stolen property has also been recovered by the officers, added the spokesperson.
He said Police Station Sumbal received a complaint from one Nazir Ahmad Reshi, resident of Wani Mohalla Sumbal that some unknown persons had barged into his shop located in main market of Sumbal and stole cash and other goods from his shop.
Subsequently, a case under relevant Sections was registered in Police Station Sumbal and further investigation was set into motion, he added.
