Pargwal Battalion organises civil-military liaison conference

JAMMU: Pargwal Battalion under the aegis of Chenab Brigade/Tiger Division organised a civil military liaison conference today at Battalion Headquarters. Nearly 30 civil dignitaries from various departments to including Police, Education, Medical and Administration attended the conference.
During the conference, various security related issues were deliberately discussed. It was emphasized that civilians are eyes and ears of the Army and their timely inputs are vital for nation’s security. The civil representatives were also briefed about various welfare schemes undertaken by the Army under Operation Sadbhavana, precautions required to be taken to avoid Omricron/COVID spread and prerequisite of their constant help and support for peace and prosperity in the region. All civil representatives thanked the Army for their endeavour and pledged to walk in hand with Army towards the safety and development of area.
