Pak violates truce agreement in Poonch, India retaliates

Jammu: Indian Army on Saturday strongly retaliated to unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan on the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Defence spokesman here said that at around 1945 hours, Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and shelling with mortars along the LoC in Degwar sector of Poonch.
“Indian Army is befittingly retailing to the firing,” he added.
Earlier on July 2, two soldiers of Pakistan Army were killed while some bunkers were also rattled in retaliatory action by the Indian Army to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan on the Line of Control in Qasba, Kerni and Shahpur Sectors against Pakistan Army posts in the Rakh Chikri area.
On the same day, Pakistan troops also violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked in Poonch district.
