Only one Sardar can become a Sardar in centuries: Amit Shah

Kevadia: Only one Sardar can become a Sardar in centuries and that one Sardar keeps the light alive for centuries, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Sunday at the National Unity Day celebrations at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat.
Shah today paid floral tributes to Sardar Patel’s statue ‘Statue of Unity’ on the occasion of his birth anniversary and said that only one Sardar can become a Sardar in a century. That one Sardar keeps the light alive for centuries. His inspiration has succeeded in keeping us united, in taking the country forward.
Shah said that Kevadiya is not the name of a place, it has become a place of pilgrimage, place of national unity and a site of patriotism. Today this statue of Sardar Saheb touching the sky, is giving a message to the whole world that India has a bright future.
