National Gymnastics Championship enters day 2 at Jammu

Jammu: The results of top five ranks were announced on the second day of the ongoing 56th Artistic Gymnastics and 25th Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship at New Indoor Hall, Maulana Azad Stadium here on Tuesday.
The five day long championship has commenced on Monday and is organised by Gymnastics Association of Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with J&K Sports Council under the aegis of Gymnastics Federation of India. The championship will conclude on November 26.
In the Championship teams from various states and UTs including Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Rajasthan, Punjab, Orissa, Maharashtra, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and many other states are participating.
On day -2 of the championship, in Men Artistic Gymnastics Under 17 (Still Rings), the top five ranks are as following, Deepak Saini from Rajasthan, Aryan Dawande from Maharashtra, Devendra Saini from Rajasthan, Dipesh Lashkari from Madhya Pradesh and Nishant Karandikar from Maharashtra
In Men Artistic Under 17 (Pommel Horse), Jatin Kumar Kanojiafrom Uttar Pradesh, Prithvi Saha from Delhi, Pritam Dey from West Bengal, Paras Singh Karki from Delhi and Pranav Mishra from Uttar Pradesh.
Men Artistic Under 17 (Floor Exercises), Sumit Dhali from Goa, Aryan Dawande from Maharashtra, Pranav Kushwaha from Uttar Pradesh, Megh Roy from Maharashtra and Pranav Mishra from Uttar Pradesh, in Women Artistic Under 15, (Uneven Bars), Riya Kelkar from Maharashtra, Piyasa Kundu from West Bengal, Sukhnoor Preet Kaur from Punjab, Devyani Kolte from Maharashtra and Udita Parmar from Delhi.
In Women Artistic Under 15 (Vaulting Table), Anushka Jana from West Bengal, Meharin S Saj from Kerala, Sukhnoor Preet Kaur from Punjab, Jinia Debnath from West Bengal, Riya Kelkar from Maharashtra. Coaches of different teams, judges and players from different states were also present.
