MP records biggest 24-hour jump in COVID-19 deaths; toll is 69

Bhopal: The fatalities owing to COVID-19 mounted to 69 on Friday in Madhya Pradesh and this gruesome figure constitutes the highest single-day increase in deaths – Thursday’s number was 55 – since the outbreak threw life off gear.
With 146 fresh cases being detected during the day, the infected tally crossed the 1,300 mark; it was officially learnt.

The state’s commercial capital Indore continues to have the dubious distinction of being ‘ground zero’ as the total shot up to 842 from Thursday’s 707 and this includes 47 demises reported thus far.
