Medal winners in Kick Boxing call on SO JKSC

JAMMU: Medal winners from Jammu and Kashmir in the National Kick Boxing Championships on Tuesday called on Sports Officer of the J&K Sports Council (JKSC), Ashok Singh at MA Stadium, here.
Those medal winners and in senior and masters groups along with officials were introduced with the Sports Officer by general secretary of the Kick Boxing Association of J&K, Abhishek Jain.
Ashok Singh applauded the performance of the team and complimented the medal winners and their coaches praised the Association for encouraging the talent.
Important to mention here that J&K team returned with two silver and three bronze medals in the Nationals held recently at Mapusa in Goa. The team was accompanied by Sanjeev Padha as coach.
Also present were Sanjeev Jamwal (NIS Boxing Coach and joint secretary Jammu of the Association.
Medal winners: Tabasum (Silver). Bronze: Deepak Thapa, Shabnam Tariq, Danish and Ayushman Jamwal.
Meanwhile, the Association also introduced three coaches and two players with the SO JKSC for successfully completing the coaching course and advance training camp held at Una in Himachal Pradesh.
Among the coaches who have emerged successful in the course were Danish Padha, Sanjeev Jamwal and Megha Rani. Two J&K players, who attended the camp were Danish Jagotra and Satvik Jamwal.
