Martyred ASI laid to rest at his native village

DODA: A wreath laying ceremony of the martyred ASI Ghulam Hussain S/O Wali Mohd age 58 years was held at his native village, Ganote of tehsil Rajgarh in district Ramban.
The brave soldier laid his life for the sake of the country in a terrorist attack which took place at Zewan in Srinagar yesterday. The martyred officer was laid to rest with full honour and dignity and as a mark of respect, a guard of honour was presented to the departed soul by District Police Doda.
The martyred ASI is survived by his wife namely Sahrifa Begum and 3 sons and 2 daughters. Thousands of locals attended the funeral of the martyred Police officer to bade his adieu. A pall of gloom had descended on the entire native village of the martyred officer.
Among the officers who attended the last rites of the departed soul were Deputy Commissioner Ramban Musarat-Ul-Islam, SP Ramban P.D Nitya. IPS, SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed, CO IRP 16th BN Ramban Amit Gupta, SP Operations Doda S Raj Kumar, Addl. SP Ramban Rajni Sharma, Tehsildar Ramban Raman Kumar, Major. Parveen Sharma of 12RR, Dy. SP Headquarters Doda Jaswant Singh, Dy. SP Hqrs Ramban Pardeep Sen, DY. SP DAR Doda Shoket Ali, Assistant Commandant 84 BN CRPF Abdul Latief, I/C PP Rajgarh and other officers of Police/Civil Department.
