LS adjourned twice on Tuesday, to meet on Thurday

New Delhi: With the Opposition disrupting the proceedings repeatedly over many issues including the Pegasus snooping row, inflation and price rise, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till Thursday, July 22 on Tuesday.
As soon as the session started in the morning , the Opposition parties started disrupting the proceedings rasing issues like phone tapping, the farmers’ issue etc. Opposition parties including Congress left their seats Although Speaker On Prakash Birla tried to pacify them, his pleas fell on deaf ears and the speaker adjourned the proceedings till 3 p.m.
As the house reassembled after the first adjournment, the Opposition again disrupted the proceedings by shouting slogans. The efforts made by the presiding chairman Kirti Solanki to conduct the business proved futile. Solanki urged the members to allow the Minister of State Ram Meghwal to lay the necessary documents on the table of the House. Finally, since the ruckus continued, Solanki adjourned the proceedings of the house till 11 am on Thursday.
