JAMMU: Prof Bhim Singh Chief Patron JKNPP on Saturday challenged the BJP General Secreary Ram Madhav to dare restore statehood of J&K.

NPP has warned the Modi Government on the unconstitutional Act of degrading the State into UT and raised voice against the unconstitutional step.

The party has blamed Modi Government of eroding the basic and fundamental rights of the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir.

The right of the permanent residence vested in the residence of J&K was approved by the Constituent Assembly in the year 1949 while approving the constitution of India.
“This became part of fundamental rights protected by the constitution of India as a Fundamental Right which could not have been changed or touched by even the parliament of India,” he argued.

NPP Supremo asked Ram Madhav to take up this matter with courage and sincerity seeking appropriate order/Direction to restore J&K statehood with restoration of permanent of resident status.

He said that the restoration of statehood does mean nothing unless right of statehood as a permanent resident is restored.
