Jammu, The members from LJK Economic Growth and Development Dialogue (LEAD) on Wednesday announced InnoLEAD 2023, a masterclass for startups & entrepreneurs in J&K.
This event, scheduled to take place on June 9-10 and aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir and fuel economic growth in the region.
“InnoLEAD will be a gathering of startup founders, industry leaders and experts. The event is planned as a masterclass workshop where startups, tech leaders, unicorns, and key stakeholders can engage in constructive dialogue, gain valuable insights, and forge connections,” said director LEAD Manish Ahluwalia here at a press conference.
He said that this masterclass will work as a guru mantra for Atmanirbhar Naya Jammu and Kashmir that will seek to transform employment-seeking youngster into employment generators.
“InnoLEAD will be a first of its kind event in the region that will provide an opportunity to all the young people of J&K who are building a startup or even thinking about one,” he said, adding that the entrepreneurs will be invited to come and talk about their venture, access and collaborate with industry leaders and experts in order to refine their business and growth plans through this workshop.
He stated that India has solidified its position as the third largest startup ecosystem globally and the younger generation of J&K also needs to join this bandwagon to be able to understand the intricacies of this competitive and constantly evolving landscape.
InnoLEAD aims at supercharging the startup ecosystem in J&K in order to see that the many promising ideas and ventures by the youth of J&K also benefit from it.
He further elaborated that the event seeks to address the growing demand for a central hub that facilitates limitless connections, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participants.
Through InnoLEAD, LEAD continues its commitment of promoting sustainable development and providing solutions to overcome various challenges in Jammu & Kashmir.
Notably, LEAD has been organising a series of such events in Jammu wherein a Youth Conclave aimed at igniting the spirit of entrepreneurship was organised with Jammu University in January 2023.
Recently a Three day Homestays Business Workshop in partnership with J&K Tourism, J&K Bank and MakeMyTrip was concluded on 4th of June 2023.
Sharing the details Ahluwalia said that the distinguished speakers at InnoLEAD will bring a wealth of expertise and experience to the event.
One of the speakers, Abhinash Manghani is the CEO of ITC WelcomHeritage.
He has a distinguished career in the Tourism and Hospitality sector. His insights on sales, marketing and brand management-related roles of a CEO will provide valuable perspectives for participants.
Pravin Rajpal is the Founder Director of World Innovation Network who has an extensive experience with global innovation institutes and acclaimed speaker on Open Innovation and Edtech.
Dinesh Prasad, another keynote speaker at the event is the Co-Founder and Director of Navars Edutech, formerly the head of Qualcomm India & South Asia, Dinesh’s passion for space and his expertise in the field makes him an invaluable contributor to the event.
