Kejriwal, Sisodia extend greetings on Onam

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on Monday greeted the people on the occasion of Onam, saying may the festival brings prosperity.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Kejriwal said, “Happy Onam to all my Malayalee sisters and brothers. May you have an abundance of joy in your life, good health and prosperity.”
Sisodia said, “I wish all, especially to my Malayalee brothers and sisters a very happy, healthy and safe Onam. Hope this festival brings peace and happiness to all.”
Onam is a harvest festival celebrated in Kerala.
The festival is celebrated to commemorate King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam.
