JMC demolishes three unauthorized built shops

JAMMU, MAR 12: On the instructions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Avny Lavasa, the enforcement staff led by Chief Enforcement Officer and Enforcement Officer here on Thursday demolished three illegally constructed shops.
The drive was taken under supervision of Joint Commissioner Administration, Ashish Kumar Gupta.
It was informed that the shops were constructed by by Ifthikar Hussain S/o Nisar Hussain and Kalu Choudhary S/o Abdullaha Choudhary at Channi Rama. The shops were built without the permission of JMC.
The action has been taken under section 7(3) of J&K control of building separation Act 1988 with the active assistance and co-operation provided by Station House Officer Bahu Fort and Incharge Police Post Narwal.
JMC has requested to the general public to refrain from constructing illegal constructions to avoid penal action which may lead to sealing and demolition of illegal buildings and get your Building plans approved by BOCA of JMC.
