JKTTPF to establish six counters to promote pilgrim sites during Amarnathji Yatra

JAMMU: JKTTPF shall be establishing its counters at 6 important destinations i.e. Lakhanpur, Chichi Mata, Raghunath Bazaar Chowk, Bhagwati Nagar (Base camp), Bus Stand (Katra) and Shiv Khori. This was disclosed by the Chairman and founder of the organization, Mahesh Chander Padha while addressing media persons here today.
He said, this year we are going to make the Pilgrims aware about the first Darshan Kol Kandoli Mata of which most of the Pilgrims are not aware. He said, JKTTPF had identified 4 Deviyaan like 4 Deviyaan in Himachal Pradesh and shall make the pilgrims aware about these holy sites. In addition here are 5 Dhams namely Baba Amarnath, Buddha Amarnath, Sudh Maha Dev, Kailash Kund and Shiv Khori which our organization shall also be promoting, he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that JKTTPF (a regd. Society) under the J&K Societies Registration Act has been working on the promotion of tourism of J&K especially Pilgrim Tourism for the past 8 years. During press conference, Padha appealed to the Governor Satya Pal Malik to extend support to JKTTPF in its initiative to promote and spread awareness about the J&K state especially Pilgrimage sites.
Tourism Promotion will generate economy of State reduce unemployment and spread the message throughout the world about our state, he added.
