JKAP resolves to fight for restoration of Statehood, empowerment people in J&K

JAMMU: Over two dozen youth from different political parties including Bharatiya Janta Party, National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party and Congress Party on Wednesday joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) here at the Jammu office in presence of senior party leaders.
A function was organised at the party office in presence of former minister Mohammed Dilawar Mir, former Minister Manjit Singh, former legislator Vijay Bakaya, senior leader Vikram Malhotra, former legislator Yawar Ahmed Mir, Namrata Sharma, Madan Chalotra (OBC leader), Bodh Raj Bhagat (SC leader), Raqeeq Ahmed Khan, Amandeep Singh and others where over two dozen youth joined J&K Apni Party.
Expressing faith in the leadership of JKAP president Syed Altaf Bukhari, the youth led by Sohan Singh (Sonu) joined JKAP in presence of senior party leaders in Jammu.
Those who joined the JKAP in Jammu included Vinod Jaral, Shardesh Kumar Raina, Harsh Jamwal, Satish Kumar, Nitin Gupta, Nitish Gupta, Rohit Bains, Yasvinder Bali, Ravinder Sharma, Mohammed Qasim, Rajesh Verma, Mohammed Rashid, Pawan Singh, Sukhrinder Verma, Rohit Bhasin, Harish Abrol, Sumit and others.
Former legislator and JKAP, senior leader, Mohammed Dilawar Mir welcomed the youth in the party and highlighted policies of the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party and future plans on how to work among the masses and strengthen the party cadre.
Speaking on the occasion, former legislator and senior leader, Vijay Bakaya said that “We will fight for the restoration of self-respect which was taken away in the shape of Statehood from the people of J&K.”
“Since there is a political vacuum in Jammu and Kashmir, JKAP has emerged as a ray of hope for the people especially youth. Political parties in J&K played regional politics promoting one region against the other and finally, it brought miseries for the people of both the regions,” said Manjit Singh, former minister.
Singh said, “The JKAP represents aspirations of the people especially youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Party will fight for the rights of the youth. Our main focus will also be on to treat both the regions equally without any discrimination.” He said that JKAP will end divisive politics played by some political parties in Jammu and Kashmir.
JKAP senior leader, Vikram Malhotra, said, “We will unitedly fight for the restoration of Dogra State of Jammu and Kashmir which now has been converted into Union Territory downgrading it from the glorious history.”
