J&K police solves theft case in Srinagar, three arrested

Srinagar: J&K police arrest three thieves and recovered stolen money in Srinagar, a police spokesman said on Friday evening.
He said that police station Ram Munshi Bagh received a report about a theft of battery worth Rs 5,000 from a parked auto in the premisis of G B Pant Hospital, Sonawar.
Subsequently, FIR under relevant sections of law was registered and further investigation was initiated.
During the course of investigation, police taking aid of modern methods of investigation were able to identify three accused persons involved in the commission of crime. They were arrested and shifted to Police Station R M Bagh where they remain in custody.
General public of the area have applauded the efforts made by Srinagar police in solving the case. Police has resolved to act tough against individuals involved in criminal activities.
