J&K Govt. declares 3-day state mourning on Jagmohan’s demise

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday has declared three day mourning on the demise of former Governor Jagmohan.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Jagmohan passed away after a brief illness in Delhi late on Monday.

As per the order, as a mark of respect to Mr Jagmohan, former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, who passed away on 03.05.2021, the Government has decided that three days State mourning shall be observed from 04.05.2021 (Tuesday) to 06.05.2021 (Thursday).

The National Flag shall fly at half-mast during the State mourning on all buildings and places where it is flown regularly; and there shall be no official entertainment and function during the State mourning.

The decisions are brought to the notice of all the concerned for information and necessary action.
