JK delegation discusses current scenario with Manmohan Singh

NEW DELHI: Three members JK delegation discussed current scenario and proposed Congress strategy in about one hour long meeting with the former Prime Minister and Chairman / Convener JK Affairs Committee today.
Congress Vichar Vibhag deputation led by Ashok Kumar Sharma, Ex MLA / MLC and Coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhhag was accompanied by Capt Lalit Sharma Chairman JK PCC Vichar Vibhag and State Coordinator Anil John.

Earlier, the Congress Vichar Vibhag team including Jatinder Bhagat, Karamat Malik, Abrar Ali Shah, Devinder Singh, Jang Bhadur and Rajiv Saraf presented memorandum to the Congress veterans including Ghulam Nabi Azad LOP in Rajya Sabha, Ahmad Patel, Treasurer AICC; Ambika Soni, General Secretary Congress; Dr Girija Vyas, Chairperson Congress Vichar Vibhag and Dr Shakeel Ahmad Khan, Secretary.
The delegation pleaded that for more than three decades J&K remained major election plank for all political parties. The Parties opposing Congress exploited disinformation campaign with regard to J&K situation resulting in discrediting the Congress. In their opinion the redressal of these issues will have country wide impact in strengthening and bringing back Congress to power in Parliament and Assemblies in the entire country.
They suggested building of strong and vibrant organizational structure to the grass root level with coordination mechanism monitored by AICC, special in house full time devotees for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions. Dissemination of information on Party stand on re-organisation of the state and media management groups need to be put in place.
