Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust to organize week long Shrimad Bhagwat Katha from July 18

JAMMU: Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust Jammu/Haridwar in collaboration with Narayan Seva Sanstha Udaipur (Rajasthan) is organizing a week long ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Katha’ from July 18 to July 24 at Om Palace, near A.G. Office, Jai Hind Chowk, Shakti Nagar, Jammu to raise funds for the welfare of orphans, physically handicapped, destitute and needy persons and to create spiritual awareness among the devotees.
Addressing a press conference here today, Pawan Shastri, president Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust Jammu said that in this connection a ‘Vishal Kalash Shobha Yatra’ shall be taken out on July 17. In addition, Bhagwat Katha shall also be organized during the week long period from July 18 to July 24 on daily basis through their learnt Pandits (Kathavachak). He further disclosed that a team of expert doctors of the “Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur (Rajasthan)” will also be available from July 23 to July 24 at Om Palace, Shakti Nagar, Jammu for conducting medical checkup of the patients.
