International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st of June every year throughout the World to give immense importance to yoga.
Yoga, which is a very good exercise for the whole World, is a physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. It is an invaluable gift of India’s tradition to the people of the whole World.
Yoga is not just the exercise but it embodies unity of mind and body, thoughts, and action also. There are lots of Asanas in yoga which keep a human body fit and healthy. There are around 84 Asanas in yoga, which are practiced since the ages to keep the body fit and even for the treatment of various types of ailments. It is more effective for us as it help to keep our mind stay calm in every situation.
Yoga also helps the person to get rid of many types of diseases as well as keep our body active throughout the day. In the present era, people are facing different types of diseases, so Yoga is the best way to cure those aliments. Diseases like Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Thyroid, chronic backpain, Depression etc. can be easily cured by practicing yoga. In fact, Yoga can be useful in reducing weight also because lots of people are facing over weight problems.
There are lots of benefits of performing yoga. People should understand its importance and should practice yoga on a regular basis.
Meditation is the best way to deal with stress and tensions so if we practice yoga we can be free from any kind of stress and tension in our life. Though Yoga is being practiced for the past many years in our country, yet many people are still unaware of its benefits in their daily life. So to make them aware about it, we need to encourage them on International Yoga Day, which is being celebrated since 2015.
Our body gets lots of energy when we practice yoga. It should be performed in the early morning so as to fill our body with lots of energy. The morning time is the best time for practicing yoga Asanas. We get fresh air in the early morning. We should always perform yoga in the open and pollution-free area. Yoga plays a very important role in everyone’s life so on this International Yoga Day we all should adopt yoga and also encourage others to practice.
