 1919: Establishment of the International Labor Organization.
 1930: Laxman cradle made of steel wires opened to the public in Hrishikesh.
 1955: The Air India Kashmir Princess (a chartered Lockheed L-749A Constellation aircraft owned by Air India) was bombed and crashed in a failed assassination attempt on Zhou Enlai by the Kuomintang.
