HBCA delegation calls on LG Mathur, submits memorandum of demands

Leh: The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, RK Mathur was called upon by the delegation of Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association (HBCA) comprising President Ven Gonbo, Director Tsewang Dorjey and Vice President Tsering Nurboo.
The 28 years long pending demand of inclusion of Bhoti script in 8th schedule of Indian constitution and opening of Kailash route via Ladakh were the foremost requests made by the delegation to the Lt. Governor.
They submitted a memorandum and presented a detailed rationalization of their demand. The Lt. Governor gave assurance to take up the matter for due consideration.
