GGF organises COVID-19 Relief Camp

JAMMU: Gandhi Global Family, J&K organised camp in collaboration with Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicines (AYUSH) and distributed free immunity boosting drugs at Christian Colony, Dogra Hall area. The medicines were provided by ISM (AYUSH) J&K.
As many as 360 people mostly senior citizens and children were examined by an expert team of doctors namely, Dr Sunil Kumar Bhat, Dr Nidhi Sharma and Adarsh Kumar Sharma, Senior Pharmacist deputed by Dr Suresh Sharma ADMO Jammu, Indian System of Medicines (ISM) – AYUSH J&K.
In his message, Dr Mohan Singh, Director ISM recommended everyone to adopt herbal medicines and enhance their body immunity as a part of a proactive measure to fight corona virus.
GGF J&K president Padmashri Dr S P Varma expressed gratitude towards ISM AYUSH J&K, Pastor Rita Gill, Pastor Younis Masih and their team of Yahwehs Power National Ministry and GGF volunteers for the successful conduct of this camp.
Earlier public awareness on COVID19 and its preventive measures was conducted by ISM Dr Sunil Bhat. The medical camp was inaugurated by Mohd Saleem, Magistrate 1st Class, Jammu City.
Dr Prem Sharma- GGF Advisor Jammu; Rev Shoukat Peter- president of All Joint Churches J&K; John Rogues Bhatti- Chairman Bethel Charitable Trust; S K Vaid, Parshottam Mehra, Camres David (Babloo), Amit Varma, Sanjeev Kohli, Titus Gill, Mariam, Kausar Zia, Markus Gill, Babu Ram Mattoo, Calvin Jordan and ‘We Care’ Team were present on the occasion.
Two minutes silence was also observed for the Martyrs who laid down their lives while defending the Indian Territory at LAC with China. Solidarity with their families was also shown. The program was concluded by singing National Anthem by all present on the occasion.
Today’s camp was dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr.
