Continuing its drive against the drug smugglers on the directions of Dr. Koshal Sharma, JKPS, SSP Samba, District Police Samba arrested one drug peddler in the jurisdiction of P/S Vijaypur and recovered 10 GM Heroin (Chitta).
Acting on reliable information, a Police Party of P/S Vijaypur headed by Inspr. Rakesh Bamba, SHO Vijaypur under the supervision of S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO Vijaypur during Naka checking at Jakh, Vijaypur intercepted one person namely Deepak Kumar S/o Romesh Kumar R/o Swankha, Vijaypur and recovered 10 GM Heroin (Chitta) from his possession. The accused person has been arrested and contraband item was also seized.
In this regard a case FIR No. 65/2019 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in P/S Vijaypur and investigation started.
