DIG, ITBP flags off educational excursion tour of students

JAMMU: M.K. Singh, DIG, ITBP flagged off the educational excursion tour of students of remote area of R.S. Pura region of Jammu Distt today at HQ 52 Bn ITBP under the Bharat Darshan Excursion Program 2019-20 launched by Govt of India.
This educational excursion tour is being conducted on the direction of Sukhwinder Singh Dhaliwal, Commandant 52nd Bn ITBP. A total of 46 students (35 Girls, 11 Boys), 02 teachers along with 02 ITBP officials under the leadership of Vinod Kumar, AC(GD) are participating in this tour. It commenced today and will provide opportunity to see the national monuments, historical sites and important institutions of Delhi and Mumbai. The journey has been planned by air and train to give them exposure of air travel.
During the flag-off ceremony, M. K. Singh, DIG, ITBP said, “Such initiatives under the Civic Action Programme of ITBP give the exposure and the environment learning to the students. The motive of tour is to provide students an opportunity to experience the rich social, culture and historical heritage of Nation.”
