COVID: Hospital staff sees off three recovered patients by showering petals in Jammu

Jammu: The medical staff of a hospital on Monday sees off three patients by showering petals who recovered from Corona Virus and discharged from the hospital here.
Social Activist and President Sikh Progressive Front, Balvinder Singh Sudan, Surinder Singh, Janak Singh and Medical Staff of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar including Superintendent L D Bhagat and Deputy Superintend Parupkar Singh, showered flowers on three discharged patients.
The patients were earlier admitted in SMGS Hospital on April 4 as Corona Positive and then shifted to Govt Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Covid-19 Hospital on April 11 and now finally after getting treatment, the were diagnosed negative and are discharged and boarded Ambulance provided by the Health Department for their onwards journey to their residence at Udhampur.
Singh said that it is a major boost for the Covid-19 hospital which proves that dedicated team of Doctors and health workers can overcome any challenge.
Balvinder Singh and his team members showered all praise for the frontline Corona Warriors, like Doctors, Paramedical Staff, Safai Karamcharis, Jouranalist and Police Personnel, who are playing vital role in containing the spread of coronovirus, despite the shortage of protective health gears.
All members of Sikh Progressive Front appealed to the citizens of UT of Jammu and Kashmir to cooperate with the Government in their efforts to fight against the menace of Covid-19 which has been declared as Pandemic by World Health Organization.
