Contingent of 65 shooters leave for New Delhi for national meet

Jammu: President Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association Kuldeep Singh Jamwal along with General Secretary Amjad Parvez Mirza, Vice Presidents, Sharat Chander Singh and Paramjeet Singh flagged off contingent of 65 Marksmen (Men & Women) of Jammu and Kashmir to participate in 39th North Zone Shooting Championship-2019 which is scheduled to be held from October 9 to 20 at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Ranges New Delhi.
Director General J&K Police Dilbag Singh Chairman (J&K Rifle Association) wished good luck to the team and hoped that the team will bring laurels to the state in the Championship by winning a number of medals.
It is pertinent to mention that marksmen from every nook and corner of the state including clubs viz KPS Shooting Club, Kathua GZS Rifle Club Bari Brahamna, J&K Police Shooting Club Jammu, DPS Shooting Club Jammu, IDPS Shooting Club Jammu and SMVD Shooting Club Katra besides J&K Police are participating in above Championship.
The contingent is comprised of in Youth Rifle (men) Paras Dalbir Singh Rakwal, Shamsher Singh, Arun Sharma, Inderpal Singh, Harshvardhan, Aman Sapolia, Jaivant Gupta, Mohammad Kaif, Samarth Tuli. In Junior Rifle (men) category, Nippun Singh, Shubhashish Padha, Pranav Sambyal, Sagar Gupta, Sahil Sharma.
In Senior Rifle (Men) category, Tajinder Paul Singh, Kamal Sharma, Sachin Bandral, Hardeep Singh, Kulbir Singh, Rajinder Singh and Mohammad Shafiyat. In Youth Rifle (women), category, Syia Singh, Pragya Verma, Inayat Maan, in Junior Rifle (women) category, Himanshi Aggarwal, Sharuti Sharma, Charanpreet Kour and Renu Devi and in Youth Pistol (men) category, Vivaan Sharma, Vibhav Sharma, Tanishq Singh, Divyansh Singh Charak, Swayam Sanson, Kamajit Singh, Ali Hasan, Shreyash Jaglan, Antas Prakash Singh, Arjun Kumar.
In Junior Pistol (men) category, Vishab Sharma, Anshu Mehra, Inderjeet Singh, Vanshaj Sambyal, Shivang Sharma, Sandeep Singh, in Senior Pistol (men) category, Abhay Gupta, Mohan Lal, Gurmeet Singh, Rajan Singh, Mohammad Younas, Madhupal Singh, Varun Partap Singh, Janak Raj, Amandeep raina, in youth pistol (women) Ananya Gupta, Ishta Sharwat, Laabibah Michelee Tahir, in Junior Pistol (women) category, Sushma Rajput, in 50 metres Rifle Men (Prone) category, Avinash Basotra, Surinder Singh, Vishal Mehra, Rajesh Vidri, Tarundev Singh Jamwal, in 50 metres Rifle Junior Men (Prone), Parmod Kumar, in 25 metres Standard Pistol (men), Romijit Singh, in 50 metres Free Pistol (Men), Amandeep Raina and Abhay Gupta are among in the teams.
Rajesh Virdhy and Madhupal Singh will accompany the team as Coach and Manager respectively.
