Congress, CECs, ECs condole demise of former Union Minister Namgyal

Leh: Executive Councilors meeting was held at Council Secretariat here to pay condolence to former Union Minster and MP Ladkah P Namgyal who passed away on Monday morning.
Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC, Gyal P Wangyal and Executive Councilors of LAHDC expressed their heartfelt condolences on the demise of former Union Minister and three times MP.
A two-minute silence was also observed to show respect to the departed soul.
The condolence meet remembered the contribution of late Namgyal in welfare of the people and development of Ladakh as a MP and as Union Deputy Minister for Surface Transport and Parliamentary Affairs and Union Minster for State Chemicals and Petrochemical and Parliamentary Affairs.
The meeting decided to take up with UT Administration for giving State Honour and declaring holiday on the funeral day of former Union Minister.
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) also expressed deep sorrow over the demise P Namgyal and conveyed condolences to bereaved family.
Former JKPCC President and former Union Minister Prof. Saifuddin Soz described him as a visionary and upright personality. He prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
Former PCC President Peerzada Mohd Sayeed and former minister Taj Mohi U Din described his passing as as a great loss to the Party.
Party functionaries expressed anguish over the demise of P Namgyal.
The leaders said that his contributions to development of J&K and Ladkah UT shall always be remembered.
CEC LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan has condoled the demise of P Namgyal and said that he worked diligently as a public representative and undertook many community welfare initiatives.
The CEC expressed his deepest condolences to the family members of the late leader and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

AICC President Sonia Gandhi has expressed anguish over the demise of Party Veteran P. Namgyal and conveyed deepest condolences to family, relatives and friends of departed soul.
AICC President expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad, General Secretary AICC and other senior leaders condoled the demise of Former Union Minister & Senior Party Colleague P. Namgyal.
They described the deceased as a man of commitment, who always remained committed to the cause of strengthening people of Ladakh.
The Leaders conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family, expressed solidarity with them and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
