CM Kejriwal remembers Chandra Shekhar Azad on his birth anniversary

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday remembered Chandra Shekhar Azad on his 114th birth anniversary.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the CM said, “Today is the birthday of Chandrashekhar Azad, who laid down his life for the independence of the country. My kind regards to such a brave revolutionary”.
Azad born on July 23, 1906, was an Indian revolutionary who was involved in the Kakori Train Robbery of 1925, in the attempt to blow up the Viceroy of India’s train in 1926, and at last, the shooting of JP Saunders at Lahore in 1928 to avenge the killing of Lala Lajpat Rai.
