CM Kejriwal appears before court in 2014 election model code of conduct violation case

Sultanpur: Aam Admi Party (AAP) convenor and Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday appeared before the MP MLA court here in an election model code violation case in 2014.
Kejriwal, reached Lucknow and thereafter appeared before the MP-MLA court of P K Jayant in Sultanpur.
The court has fixed November 2 as the next date of hearing in the case. The case is related to a public meeting held in 2014 Lok Sabha elections by Kejriwal in favour of his party candidate Kumar Viswas from Amethi Lok Sabha seats.
The public meetings were held in Gauriganj and Musafirkhana area against which the FIR was registered against Kejriwal and Kumar Viswas.
After appearing in the court, Kejriwal along with other AAP leaders left for Ayodhya.
Meanwhile, in Ayodhya tension brew up when some anti-social elements blackened the posters of Kejriwal with black ink.
