China’s trade with US, Russia decreases in first 7 months of 2020

Beijing: China’s trade with the US and Russia has decreased year-on-year in January-July 2020, the Chinese General Administration of Customs said on Friday.
Its trade with US has declined by 6.4 per cent in the past seven months, to $288.9 billion, whereas with Russia it has decreased by 4.3 per cent year-on-year in January-July 2020, to $58.82 billion.
The Custom Service further stated that Chinese exports to the United States sank by 7.3 per cent year-on-year to $221.28 billion within the same period of time, while the US exports to China by 3.5 per cent to $67.7 billion.
Its export to Russia further reported a reduction by 3.7 per cent year-on-year to $25.82 billion within the same period of time, while the Russian exports to China by 4.7 per cent to $32.99 billion.
