BSP Candidate Lakshman Singh Dies Of Heart Attack

JAIPUR

Lakshman Singh, a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate for upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, died of a heart attack in the wee hours of Thursday.

Singh was BSP candidate from the Ramgarh seat of Alwar district.

After his death, Assembly elections will now be held on 199 of 200-seat Rajasthan assembly.

The state is scheduled to go to polls on December 7 and the results would be announced on December 11.

A decision in this regard would be taken by the state election commission after getting a detailed report from the district polling officer in view of Singh’s death.

Singh was among the six candidates announced by the BSP last month in its second list for the December assembly elections.
