BJP’s stinging attack on Cong, says will expose double standards

New Delhi: Making an all-out attack on the Gandhi family, BJP on Saturday said the Congress was synonym to corruption and the BJP government will expose the double standards of the principal opposition party.
Addressing a press conference here, BJP president J P Nadda said, ‘The 130 crore countrymen want to know what work the Congress has done while in power and how it has betrayed the country’s trust. Our government will expose the double standards of the Congress.’
Mr Nadda said Congress leader Sonia Gandhi should not to try to avoid the original questions because of Novel Coronavirus or because of the situation in China.
‘The Army of India is capable of protecting the country and our borders, and the country is safe under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,’ he asserted.
He posed questions to Ms Gandhi and demanded that her reply to the same.
The BJP president questioned the exact relationship between INC and the Communist Party of China. He said the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation worked in close association with the China Association for Internationally Friendly Contact.
‘This organisation is a vehicle used by the Central Military Commission of China. The purpose is to infiltrate and influence the voices of leaders of other countries,’ he added.
Mr Nadda asked, ‘What was the role of RGF with the China Association for Internationally Friendly Contact and Central Military Commission of China and how was it trying to influence policymakers of India?
‘What is the tacit understanding? What is the signed and unsigned MoU? The country wants to know,’ he said.
Mr Nadda said the RCEP is not in the interest of Indian farmers, MSME sector and agriculture and thus, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not join it.
