BJP Press Conference, January 15


BJP National Vice-President & Prabhari for the State of J&K, Sh. Avinash Rai Khanna along with other senior leaders from State BJP will address a Press Conference on Tuesday, the January 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir held a meeting of its senior party functionaries from Kashmir to prepare ground for the preparations of approaching Parliamentary elections at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Meeting was chaired by BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and was also addressed by State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh and Sunil Sharma.

Ashok Kaul, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP is committed to the all around development of the state with the special emphasis on the fact that no region must feel ignored at the cost of another. He stressed that the alienation between the various groups must be demoted at every cost and at the same time encouragement must be given for the participation of Kashmir Civil Society to promote the integration of the youth into the mainstream.

Kaul stressed that BJP has worked with the agenda of development, education and the provision of necessary amenities to the common masses in the past and it will remain so in the approaching Parliament elections. Citing chances of Assembly elections along with Parliament in the state, he asked them to work with dedication on the ground to connect with the masses and at the same time work for strengthening of booth level structure of the party. Counter misleading propagandas by Congress, NC & PDP by taking facts to the masses, he added, while prompting them to infuse energy into party cadre for big wins in elections.

Dr. Narinder Singh, stressed that the common people have been benefitted by Centrally funded public welfare schemes for the very first time in history due to the bold steps taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the diminutions of middlemen in such schemes have resulted in the empowerment of poor and this achievement must be taken to the people.

Sunil Sharma, said that the development in the terms of roads, power supply and others has been given pace under the present dispensation. While asking the leaders from Kashmir to work extensively for the approaching elections, he expressed confidence that the party will gain seats in all the regions.

Altaf Thakur, Arif Raja, and others were amongst the prominent BJP leaders from Kashmir who participated in the meeting.
