Another Vikas Dubey aide, carrying 50k bounty, held in UP

Lucknow: The sleuths of the Special Task Force (STF) of the Uttar Pradesh police arrested another aide of deceased gangster Vikas Dubey, who was carrying a bounty of Rs 50,000 on his head, from the Akbarpur area of Kanpur Dehat, STF sources said on Monday.
STF sources here said that the STF team arrested wanted miscreant Ram Singh Yadav on Sunday night.
Information was received by the STF that wanted criminal Ram Singh Yadav was seen standing at the turn near the Dr PC Verma clinic at the Bara road in the Akbarpur area of Kanpur Dehat and was waiting to go somewhere.
Acting on the tip-off, the STF team reached the spot and arrested the wanted miscreant. During interrogation, the accused said that he had reached Vikas Dubey’s house with his double-barrel licensed gun at his behest.
On Dubey’s instructions, he had climbed on one Prabhat’s terrace and fired indiscriminately at the policemen between the intervening night of July 2-3, he added. He was to burn the bodies but escaped as more policemen arrived at the scene and had been absconding since then.
A case has been registered against the arrested criminal and further probe is on.
