All upcoming DC flicks to be delayed amid Covid

Los Angeles: In a major disappointment for DCEU fans, Warner Brothers has shifted the dates for “Black Adam”, “Shazam 2”, “Aquaman 2”, “DC: League of Super Pets” and “The Flash”.
“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” and “The Flash” are both being pushed from 2022 to 2023 due to Covid-induced production delays with visual effects. The James Wan sequel to DC’s Protecter of the Deep (Aquaman) is being pushed back from December 16, 2022, to March 17, 2023.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom shall star Jason Mamoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson Orm Marius, William Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Dolph Lungdren as King Neerus, Yahya Abdul Mateen 2 as David Kane/Black Manta, Temura Morrison as Thomas Curry and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna.
In another delay Ezra Miller’s first solo outing as “The Flash” is speeding away from November 4, 2022, to June 23, 2023. Based on the Flashpoint storyline “The Flash” shall star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Irish West, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Antje Traue as Faora Ul, Michael Shannon as General Zodd and Sarah Calle as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl.
Meanwhile director Jamue Collet Serra’s “Black Adam” is being pushed back three months from July 29 to October 21, 2022, and “DC League of Super-Pets” is moving to “Black Adam’s” original date July 29, 2022. Black Adam shall star Dwayne Johnson as Teth Adam/ Black Adam, Pierce Noah Centineo as Albert Rothstein/ Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Carter Hall/Hawkman, Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson/Doctor Fate, Sarah Shahi as Adriana Tomaz/Isis and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
Directed by Jared Stern “DC: League of Super-Pets,” in which Johnson voices Superman’s canine best friend, Krypto the Super-Dog, was previously dated for May 20, 2022. Apart from Johnson, Super Pets shall also star Kevin Hart as Ace The Bat Hound, Venessa Bayer as PB, Natasha Lyonne as Merton ,Diego Luna, John Krasinski as Superman, Keanu Reeves as Batman and Marc Maron as Lex Luthor.
