ABVP organises blood donation camp

ABVP activists donating blood at Govt. SMGS Hospital, Jammu on Sunday.

JAMMU: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Mahanagar on Sudnay organised a blood donation Camp at Govt. SMGS Hospital, Shalamar Jammu to fight against the blood shortage due to 2nd wave of COVID 19 pandemic.
The activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Jammu Mahanagar today donated blood before getting vaccinated and also urged upon the people to donate blood to save precious lives. These days due to COVID 19 pandemic many patients are suffering due to blood shortage in all the hospitals.
There is a constant need for regular blood supply and regular blood donations by sufficient number of healthy people will ensure that safe blood will be available whenever and wherever needed.
ABVP Jammu Kashmir UT Secretary Mukesh Manhas said blood is a most precious gift which one must give to others. When the country is fighting with COVID 19 pandemic and blood shortage, the ABVP is trying to help the society.
He said every youth must donate blood before getting COVID 19 vaccinated, because when a person gets vaccinated he is unable to donate blood for the next 60 days. So it is our social duty to save lives around us.
