Jammu : One day awareness programme was held at Baspur Bangla, R.S Pura, Jammu which was organized under the supervision of Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. The awareness programme was attended by 45 Civilians of the area. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, Fire fighting, CPR and other life saving techniques were given to the trainees by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics was also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main aim of the awareness programme was to educate students with regard to preventive measures during natural or man-made disasters.
On the Occasion Ex Sarpanch Balkar Singh, Social Worker of the area appreciated and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such programme.
